Invictus Mediation & Dispute Resolution

Lisa is an “almost native,” having lived in Wyoming since she was three years old.  Lisa graduated from Natrona County High School and began her college education at Casper College.  After receiving an Associate’s Degree in elementary education there, she continued her education at the University of Wyoming, receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in elementary education with a minor in special education.  Lisa then entered the University of Wyoming College of Law, graduating with her Juris Doctorate Degree.  Lisa is proud to say that this year she has been an attorney in Wyoming for 25 years!

Lisa has recently accepted a nomination to NAFLA, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys Top 10, which recognizes the top 10 attorneys in each state in the field of family law litigation.  This prestigious organization only accepts nominations for their top 10 once a year and the attorney must be nominated, and cannot apply themselves for the honor of being named to NAFLA’s Top 10 Family Law Attorneys.

Lisa has also recently completed a year and a half long course at Colorado State University, receiving a graduate-level certification in mediation and dispute resolution, earning entrance into the Golden Key International Honour Society in January, 2018. 

 

Lisa has also been recently elected to the board of the Wyoming Trial Lawyer’s Association (WTLA). 

 

Lisa is active and passionate about animal rescue and welfare and is the founder and president of a state and federal 501(c)3 non-profit called Paws2Help.  Paws2Help’s mission is to provide quality veterinary care for homeless animals, providing everything from grooming and vaccinations to spay and neuter to major surgery, to alleviate animal suffering and make these homeless animals more adoptable.

In her spare time, of which there is little, Lisa enjoys needlework, reading and spending time with her 88 years young father.  She shares her home with a number of rescued “furkids” and her husband, Jim.
